Contribution Component
The contribution component takes place a few weeks before the competition. Universities will need to find innovative ways to raise awareness among students and their community, in order to highlight the Quebec Firefighter Foundation.
The Foundation
The Québec Firefighter Foundation for burn victims is the only organization in Quebec that raises funds to support care and assistance for burn victims. The Foundation owes its strength to the commitment of firefighters across Quebec who, alongside valued partners, have united for over 35 years to carry out the Foundation's mission: to promote and support the cause of burn victims in Quebec.
Thanks to the funds raised, the Foundation is able to finance research and rehabilitation programs, purchase highly specialized equipment, fund a summer camp for children, and support victims and their families through its emergency and direct assistance fund. The Foundation also promotes fire prevention and safe behaviors around the dangers of burns.
